Usage Guide

Dear pet owner, thank you for purchasing a VETlímce recovery collar. We wish your furry friend a smooth recovery! Here are a few tips on how to use VETlímce.

Choose the guide for your product type:

Dog – recovery collar

1. The right size

For everything to work as it should, you need to choose the right size of collar. You already have it — either you tried it on at your vet's clinic or you bought it after consulting the VETlímce s.r.o. specialists. As a reminder: the collar must always be longer than the animal's muzzle — by roughly 4 cm when lying down.

2. Adjusting the collar

The collar is fastened and sized using the hook-and-loop strips (A) located around the outer rim and at the neck area.

3. Secure the collar against being pulled off

Thread the collar harness through the neck loops (B) and fasten it. Do not skip this important step! It prevents even the most active dog from removing the collar. The harness must be tight enough that the animal cannot pull it over its head and drag the collar off with it. Larger collars are also fitted with a safety buckle that must be carefully closed.

Care

The collar is made of foam and washable outdoor fabric. Hand-wash it when needed using a mild detergent.

  • Do not dry-clean
  • Do not tumble-dry
  • Do not iron
  • Hand-wash only

We stand behind the quality of the product, but as the manufacturer we are not liable for the use of the collar or any injury to the animal; by purchasing and using the product you acknowledge and accept this.
